She turns 3

Yesterday was my daughter's 3rd birthday.  It's hard to believe that 3 years have already flown by since giving birth.  It's amazing to see the transformations that are taking place as she grows, learns, and becomes her own little person.  I love her more and more each and every day, and am so amazingly thankful to have her in my life.

Her birthday party was on Sunday evening with family and a few friends.  Then, we had a girl's day yesterday on her actual birthday.  We went to the mall, rode the choo choo train and other rides, played on the elevator in JCPenny's, had FroYo for lunch, bought new jammies, and just enjoyed the day. We then had one last piece of birthday cake after dinner and let her open her presents from Mommy and Daddy.

It was so fun to watch her enjoy it all.  And, after having all the emotional issues I've been dealing with, it was really nice to just enjoy my daughter.  To know that at least we have her and she will be enough.  She completes our family.  We would still love more than nothing in the world to have another, but we feel complete.... at this moment.

Feeding her little friend.  This picture makes me so happy and sad at the same time.  Happy because that baby is a surrogate baby and such a blessing.  Sad because Taylor would be an amazing big sister.
